StraNexus is delighted to welcome a long-standing partner, and confirm the appointment of David Berger, P.Eng (Alta), MBA as the inaugural Executive Partner and President effective immediately.
Mr. Berger is a recognized, sought-after expert in North America in Strategy, Operations Management, IT, and Asset Management. He has extensive experience in industry, consulting, and academia. His previous roles include National Managing Director of Western Management Consultants, Managing Director of Management Consulting at Grant Thornton, Partner at PWC, an Executive with CIBC, and leadership positions in manufacturing companies. He continues to teach as an adjunct professor and has been doing so for over 30 years. Teaching experience includes courses in strategic planning, information technology and operational improvement for the MBA program at Schulich School of Business, Industrial Engineering program at Ryerson University, and MBA program at Rotman School of Business. Mr. Berger is the Founding President of the Plant Engineering & Maintenance Association of Canada, and a Past Chair of the Executive Board of the Council on Industrial and Systems Engineering.

StraNexus is also pleased to welcome a former chief executive of a StraNexus client, and confirm the appointment of Mike Trojan, CMA, CPA in the role of Senior Advisor.
Mr. Trojan who previously was the Chief Administrative Officer of Niagara Region for 14 years and Vice President Administrative Services with Niagara College, brings with him 35 years of extensive Municipal Government and Public Sector experience. His other roles have included Deputy CAO, Treasurer and Director of Corporate Services at Niagara Region; Treasurer at both City of Stoney Creek and Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake; and leadership positions in a public accounting firm, a real estate development company and a major Canadian financial institution. He has served as President of the Ontario Municipal Administrators Association, and currently sits as a Board member of the Housing Services Corporation of Ontario.
